Job summary

MediaWorks in Auckland is seeking a commercially minded creative to lead station promotions and events across the national network. You will translate client briefs into award-winning campaigns that elevate our brand and deliver real business results, working with on-air teams and iconic shows.

Based in Auckland, you’ll spearhead campaigns, coordinate budgets, and guide a team to create engaging concepts that resonate on-air, online, and in public spaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in radio, media, promotions, marketing, or event execution.
• Proven commercial creativity: respond to client briefs with concepts that meet objectives while honoring brand values.
• Outstanding communication skills when working with clients, on-air, and event teams.
• Strong project management: juggle campaigns, meet deadlines, and solve problems on the fly.
• Supportive leadership: positive leadership across internal teams, sponsors, and audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead Network Campaigns: Create, develop, and deliver on-air promotions and campaigns across the national network.
• Drive Audience & Revenue Growth: Coordinate promotions, survey tactics, content activations, client integrations, and engagement initiatives to boost ratings and revenue.
• Master Strategy & Logistics: Build and maintain a 12-month network promotional plan, manage budgets and event logistics.
• Guide & Lead Talent: Provide leadership to a wider promotional team including coordinators and casual staff.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Sales, Programming, Digital Content Producers, Brand Managers, and show producers to turn briefs into engaging concepts.
