Job summary

Fusion5 is seeking a Project Operations Coordinator to bring structure and pace to consulting engagements in Canterbury, NZ. You’ll support project setup, governance, billing inputs and reporting, acting as the dependable operations anchor for Consulting Managers and Project Managers.

This role emphasizes a proactive, structured approach, resource coordination, and clear communication across delivery, finance and account teams to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, PMO support or delivery operations.
• Ability to set up projects, maintain schedules and onboarding coordination.
• Familiarity with project governance, risk/issue logging and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer project activities across the full lifecycle, keeping governance cadences on track.
• Support project setup and maintenance within business systems—records, work orders, allocations, billing inputs.
• Maintain accurate schedules, risk logs, dependency trackers and governance packs.
• Coordinate governance activities including calendars, agendas, packs, minutes and follow-ups.
• Provide operational visibility across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.
• Collaborate with Consulting Managers, Project Managers, Finance and delivery teams.
