Job summary

Fusion5 in Wellington, New Zealand is seeking a Project Operations Coordinator to bring structure and pace to consulting engagements. You will supply operational support to Consulting Managers and Project Managers to keep delivery on track.

In this role you’ll manage project setup, reporting, financial administration and stakeholder follow-ups, ensuring governance cadences are followed and information is up-to-date across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project coordination, project operations, PMO support or delivery operations role.
• Familiarity with project management tools and systems—project tracking, time recording, financial, ERP or reporting systems.
• Exposure to project governance and assurance activities, including governance packs and RAID management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across the full project lifecycle with governance cadences.
• Support project setup, maintenance including records, work orders, resources and billing.
• Maintain schedules, action registers, risk/issue logs and dependency trackers.
• Coordinate governance meetings including calendars, agendas, packs and minutes.
• Provide reliable operational visibility across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Collaborate with Consulting Managers, Project Managers, Finance and delivery teams.
• Support monthly billing preparation and reconciliation of project data.
• Coordinate resourcing and onboarding/offboarding and system access.
• Prepare and distribute project, resource, utilization and financial reports.
• Spot risks and blockers early with clear next steps.
