Job summary

Platinum Recruitment in Invercargill, NZ, requires a capable Project Manager to deliver capital projects on time, within budget and to quality standards. You will develop plans, manage risks, and report progress to stakeholders, while ensuring effective oversight of contractor and consultant performance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of delivering construction or capital projects, with strong budget, schedule and change-control skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’+ experience delivering construction or capital projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting autonomously.
• Experience with 3 Waters and/or local government is preferred.
• End-to-end project management from design through to asset handover.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple capital projects on time, on budget and to required quality standards in accordance with ICC’s Project Management Framework.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and risk/issue management processes, including identifying and escalating risks early.
• Provide clear, accurate programme and project reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and forecasting.
• Manage and implement robust change control processes.
• Communicate effectively with consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Oversee contractor and consultant performance.

• Demonstrated ability in managing projects end-to-end (design, procurement, delivery, contract management, through to asset handover
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels.
