Job summary

Citycare Property in Queenstown Lakes District is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of facilities management projects, asset renewals, building improvements, minor capital works, and Design & Build projects across the Queenstown Lakes District. Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience delivering construction, facilities management, property, infrastructure or capital works projects.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and contract management skills.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients, contractors and consultants.
  • A full New Zealand Driver Licence.
  • Experience with Design & Build projects and NZS3910 contracts (advantage).

Join our Queenstown Lakes District Council team and help deliver projects that support one of New Zealand's most iconic and rapidly growing regions.

Citycare Property is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of facilities management projects, asset renewals, building improvements, minor capital works, and Design & Build projects across the Queenstown Lakes District.

As Project Manager, you'll oversee a varied programme of work, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading projects from planning and procurement through to delivery and handover

  • Building trusted relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders
  • Identifying risks and driving continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality project delivery
What You’ll Bring to the Table | Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Rūnanga

You'll thrive in this role if you're a practical, solutions-focused Project Manager who enjoys building strong relationships, managing competing priorities, and delivering successful outcomes.

You'll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience delivering construction, facilities management, property, infrastructure or capital works projects
  • Strong project delivery, commercial and contract management experience
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients, contractors and consultants
  • Experience delivering projects through planning, procurement, delivery and handover
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A commitment to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental outcomes
  • A full New Zealand Driver Licence

You'll stand out if you have Design & Build experience, knowledge of NZS3910 contracts, facilities management project experience, or a relevant qualification and project management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
