Job summary

Higgins in Hamilton is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead road construction projects across the Waikato region from planning through to completion.

You will own project delivery, build strong client relationships, and guide project teams with a relentless focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement. This role offers opportunities for professional development and long-term career growth within Higgins and Fletcher Construction.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing road construction or civil infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple operations while delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Strong commercial capability, including experience pricing and managing projects valued at $10M+.
  • Leadership skills that enable you to build capable, engaged, and high-performing teams.
  • A practical approach to health and safety, with a genuine belief that every incident can be prevented.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Waikato team and help deliver road construction projects across the region.
