Job summary

Higgins is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead asphalt paving projects across the Bay of Plenty, NZ. You will oversee tendering, pricing, and handover while guiding multiple projects from planning through final account, ensuring budgets and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Qualification in construction management, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience delivering asphalt paving or civil infrastructure projects in New Zealand or comparable markets.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, pricing, and cost control.
• Collaborative leadership style with experience developing and supporting project teams.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental excellence.
• Working knowledge of the Construction Contracts Act and NZS3910.
• Full Class 1 driver licence.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of asphalt paving projects across the Bay of Plenty. Whether you're an established Senior Project Manager or an experienced Project Manager ready for your next challenge, you'll bring strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and a track record of delivering civil infrastructure projects safely and successfully.

Key Responsibilities Include
