Job summary

Magnetic Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer to lead a major 3 Waters wastewater project in South Auckland. You will work with a Project Manager and site teams, overseeing planning, delivery and cross-discipline coordination to ensure successful outcomes.

With 3+ years in civil construction and a practical, ownership-minded approach, you will contribute across water & wastewater packages and have clear pathway toward Project Management as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' civil construction experience.
• Experience delivering water, wastewater or 3 Waters infrastructure.
• Water or wastewater treatment plant exposure would be a big advantage.
• Strong site-based civil construction experience.
• Exposure to concrete structures, pipelines, pump stations or multidisciplinary infrastructure.
• A relevant engineering qualification.
• A practical approach and willingness to take ownership.

Join an established, highly regarded medium-sized civil contractor with more than 20 years in the industry and a serious track record in water infrastructure.

With 60+ water and wastewater projects delivered, this team has built its reputation around solving complex engineering problems across water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, heavy civil structures and multidisciplinary infrastructure.

They’re now looking for a Project Engineer to join the team on a major wastewater project in the South Auckland region.

This is a smaller, agile contractor where you'll be known for what you deliver.

You'll work closely with experienced senior people, have genuine input into project delivery and gain broad exposure across civil, structural, mechanical and electrical packages.

Rather than being boxed into one small part of a major project, you'll get involved across the full delivery lifecycle and have the opportunity to build toward Project Management.

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and site teams, taking responsibility across:

3 Waters experience is important for this one.
