Job summary

WSP in Auckland is looking for a Water Engineer to join their high-performing Auckland Water Team. This role involves providing technical design assistance on water and wastewater infrastructure projects and working on diverse projects across New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in water design and hold a tertiary qualification in engineering. The position offers opportunities for mentorship and career growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ professional experience as an infrastructure/water and wastewater professional in a design consultancy.
• Experience in design and management in water supply and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines and pump stations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design assistance on water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Be involved in delivering projects through the construction phase.

We have an opportunity for a water engineer to join our high-performing Auckland Water Team, providing technical design assistance on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. About you

• Minimum 3 years’ professional experience as an infrastructure / water and wastewater professional in a design consultancy
• A tertiary qualification in engineering
• CPEng or equivalent
• Experience in design, design management in water supply and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines and pumpstations
• Keen to be involved in delivering projects through the construction phase
• Collaborative, approachable, and curious
