Job summary

Madison Recruitment is seeking a capable Project Engineer or Project Manager to join a growing civil infrastructure team in Takanini, NZ. You will own projects from client discussions and pricing through to delivery, handover and ongoing support, managing multiple stormwater, wastewater and infrastructure projects with clients, consultants and field crews.

You will bring a Level 7 engineering qualification and 4+ years in civil construction, with strong communication and commercial skills for

Job description

An established civil infrastructure contractor is seeking a highly capable Project Engineer or Project Manager to join its growing team in Takanini.

This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from initial client discussions and pricing through to delivery, handover and ongoing client support. You'll be managing multiple stormwater, wastewater and infrastructure projects while working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and field crews.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Engineering qualification (Level 7 or equivalent).
• 4+ years' experience within civil construction, infrastructure, utilities or a related sector in New Zealand.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients, consultants and site teams.
• Commercially minded with experience in estimating, pricing, procurement or contract administration.
• Practical, proactive and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
