Job summary

Madison Recruitment is seeking a capable Project Engineer or Project Manager to join a growing civil infrastructure team in Takanini, NZ. You will own projects from client discussions and pricing through to delivery, handover and ongoing support, managing multiple stormwater, wastewater and infrastructure projects with clients, consultants and field crews.

You will bring a Level 7 engineering qualification and 4+ years in civil construction, with strong communication and commercial skills for

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification at Level 7 or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills with clients, consultants and site teams.
• Commercial acumen with estimating, pricing, procurement or contract administration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay proactive.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil infrastructure projects from estimate to completion.
• Prepare quotations, estimates and tender submissions.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, equipment and labour.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage project budgets, progress claims and variations.
• Oversee project quality, documentation and handovers.
• Identify new business opportunities and support company growth.
• Ensure high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
