Job summary

MBIE in Wellington is seeking a Programme Manager, Gas to lead the planning, governance, reporting and delivery oversight of a nationally significant programme of work. You will drive work streams across MBIE and ensure coordination with wider agencies to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and the ability to translate strategic objectives into practical programme plans while managing risks, budgets and resources within a public sector

Reporting to the Manager, Gas Policy in the Energy Markets branch, the Programme Manager, Gas will lead the planning, governance, reporting and delivery oversight of a nationally significant programme of work. You'll drive work streams across a number of branches within MBIE, and ensure effective coordination and collaboration with wider agencies. You will set up and run governance architecture, help drive delivery and manage programme performance, risks, budgets and resources. Success in this role will rely on your ability to build influential relationships, foster collaboration across agencies, and provide leadership that enables teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will have:
