Job summary

MBIE is seeking a Programme Manager, Gas in Wellington to lead planning, governance, reporting and delivery oversight of a nationally significant energy programme. You will drive work streams across MBIE and other agencies, set up governance, manage performance, risks, budgets and resources, and build influential relationships for high-quality outcomes.

About the Role - Tēnei tūranga:

Reporting to the Manager, Gas Policy in the Energy Markets branch, the Programme Manager, Gas will lead the planning, governance, reporting and delivery oversight of a nationally significant programme of work. You'll drive work streams across a number of branches within MBIE, and ensure effective coordination and collaboration with wider agencies. You will set up and run governance architecture, help drive delivery and manage programme performance, risks, budgets and resources. Success in this role will rely on your ability to build influential relationships, foster collaboration across agencies, and provide leadership that enables teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
