Job summary

  • More than 3 years of proven experience coordinating projects or programs.
  • Strong governance, reporting, and meeting coordination skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management systems.
  • NCEA Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in English, Math, and Computing.
  • Formal project management training.
  • Project management qualification or working towards (Prince2, Diploma, NZQA, CAPM, or PMP).
  • Current NZ full driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate portfolio governance meetings and forums.
  • Prepare reports, agendas, presentations and minutes.
  • Maintain portfolio registers, actions, and decisions.
  • Monitor reporting timelines and stakeholder inputs.
  • Process invoices and portfolio administration tasks.
  • Ensure standards and best practices apply consistently.
  • Facilitate communication across projects and stakeholders effectively.

About the role:

Reporting to the Group Manager - Capital Portfolio, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of capital projects and programs. Acting as a central coordination point, you’ll oversee governance processes, portfolio reporting, project administration, and stakeholder communication. Working closely with project managers, leadership teams, finance and digital teams, you will help ensure projects remain aligned, well-organised, and positioned for success.
