Job summary

The Warehouse Group in Auckland is seeking a proactive Programme Governance professional to support visibility, governance and delivery outcomes across a multi-project portfolio. You’ll partner with project teams and senior stakeholders to ensure risks are identified early and reporting is meaningful for decision making.

You'll drive programme governance, maintain schedules, develop dashboards and manage RAID registers while supporting budget tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience in programme coordination, PMO, governance, compliance or portfolio reporting.
• Strong project governance and delivery assurance knowledge.
• Proven experience managing programme schedules and RAID registers.
• Advanced reporting, dashboarding and analytical capability including Excel.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, forecasting and budget tracking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influence without direct authority.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.

Job description

In this role, you'll be at the centre of our property growth programme, providing the visibility, governance and reporting that enables great decisions and successful delivery outcomes. You'll work across multiple projects and stakeholders, ensuring risks are identified early, reporting is meaningful, and delivery teams have the information they need to succeed.

You'll be a trusted partner to project teams and senior stakeholders, helping create consistency, accountability and confidence across the programme.

What you’ll be doing:

• Driving programme governance, compliance and delivery assurance across a diverse property portfolio.
• Maintaining integrated programme schedules and tracking key milestones, dependencies and risks.
• Developing dashboards, reporting packs and performance insights that support informed decision-making.
• Managing programme-level RAID registers and ensuring risks and issues are proactively addressed.
• Supporting financial governance through budget, forecast and variance tracking.
• Ensuring project information and reporting data is accurate, complete and reliable.
• Providing portfolio visibility to support prioritisation, resource planning and delivery performance.
• Coordinating procurement and fixture-readiness activities to help keep projects on track.
• Driving continuous improvement and evolving programme management practices across the function.

Qualifications

You're naturally organised, analytical and curious. You enjoy solving problems, connecting the dots and helping teams work more effectively.

You'll bring:

• Experience in programme coordination, PMO, governance, compliance, project controls or portfolio reporting.
• Strong project governance and delivery assurance knowledge.
• Proven experience managing programme schedules, project reporting and RAID registers.
• Advanced reporting, dashboarding and analytical capability, including strong Excel skills.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, forecasting and budget tracking.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and reporting accuracy.
• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.

Experience within property, construction, retail development, capital projects or operational delivery environments will be highly regarded. Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP or PMO qualifications are advantageous.
