Job summary

Jerry Kitchen & Bath Limited, an Auckland-based kitchen and bathroom specialist, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations for customised products. You will oversee production planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and cross-team coordination to ensure on-time delivery, quality and safety.

The role requires strong leadership, rigorous planning, and a track record in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Manufacturing/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing/production management experience.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate manufacturing operations for kitchen, bathroom, cabinetry and benchtop products.
• Develop and manage production plans and schedules based on orders and project requirements.
• Allocate staff, machinery, materials and resources to meet targets efficiently.
• Supervise cabinet makers and workshop staff, monitor productivity and performance.
• Coordinate with design, measurement, sales, procurement and installation to translate drawings into production.
• Monitor costs, labour productivity and material usage; adjust processes as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality standards and timely production against deadlines.
