Job summary

Superior Kitchens & Joinery in Auckland is seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker to manufacture and assemble custom kitchens and cabinetry to exacting standards. Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Cabinet Maker with 4+ years' experience.
• Proven experience and knowledge in Cabinet Making or Joinery.
• Previous installation experience with kitchens or custom cabinetry.
• High standard of workmanship with excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently when required.
• Honest and dependable with a professional approach to your work.
• Current New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, prepare and install custom cabinetry to a consistently high standard.
• Support Kitchen installations and on-site work when required.
• Read and accurately interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
• Identify and resolve issues throughout the manufacturing and installation process.
• Liaise effectively with the Factory Manager and wider team.
• Maintain a professional, reliable and trustworthy approach when working in clients' homes and on site.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, qualified Cabinetmaker to join our team. The role will involve manufacturing and assembling custom kitchens and cabinetry, interpreting plans and specifications, preparing jobs for installation, and working closely with the Factory Manager to ensure projects are completed accurately and to the required standard.

About you

Honest and dependable with a professional approach to your work

Current New Zealand Driver Licence

Competitive hourly rate of $35-45 per hour, depending on experience

Monday to Friday work schedule
