Job summary

Xero in New Zealand seeks a Senior Engineer in Security Defence to design, build and operate threat-detection capabilities. This hybrid role can be based in Auckland or Wellington, working with Security Operations, Security Response, CX, Product and Engineering to turn threat intel into practical controls that protect customers and the business.

You will lead complex technical initiatives, apply Python and cloud security practices, and help measure detection coverage and control effectiveness
