Job summary

ANZ is seeking a Product Performance Manager to support the Pacific product portfolio’s performance and governance across eight Pacific markets. You will lead reporting, insights and governance with internal partners to drive customer outcomes.

You will collaborate across Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Legal and Tech to manage risks and support growth initiatives. Role is Auckland-based, permanent, full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience in portfolio management, product governance or risk management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Clear communication to senior leadership and across teams.
• Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools; Tableau, SQL, SAS a bonus.

As a Product Performance Manager in our Pacific Products team, you'll play a key role in supporting the performance, governance and ongoing evolution of ANZ's Pacific product portfolio. You'll help ensure our products are well-governed, perform effectively and deliver good customer outcomes across eight Pacific markets. Working with internal partners, you'll use data, insights and governance frameworks to support decision-making, identify opportunities for improvement and help drive sustainable business outcomes. Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like?

You’ll be responsible for supporting the performance, governance and ongoing management of ANZ's Pacific product portfolio while leading the Pacific Exception Reporting ecosystem. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver insights, strengthen governance and support great customer outcomes. You will:

• Lead and continuously improve the Pacific Exception Reporting framework which is designed to ensure our propositions deliver as promised. This includes supporting frontline capability uplift and continuous well-managed improvements uplift.
• Deliver reporting, analysis and insights that support product decisions, customer outcomes and business performance.
• Partnering with internal teams across Product, Channels, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Legal and Technology to manage risks, issues and controls under ANZ’s risk framework.
• Support product growth and retention activities including product reviews, pricing reviews, risk reviews, collateral management, process improvements, and product proposition enhancements

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• Experience in portfolio management, product management, governance, risk management or business performance roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and turn it into practical insights and recommendations.
• Experience building trusted relationships and working with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership at times.
• Proficiency using Excel and reporting tools to analyse data and support decision-making. Exposure to Tableau, SQL, SAS or similar tools would be beneficial.
• Curiosity, adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to challenge existing thinking and explore new ways of working.
