Job summary

BNZ is seeking a Product Manager for the Business Lending domain in Auckland. The role is permanent, full-time, with a hybrid setup (three days in office, two flexible days).

You will drive product strategy for term lending, focus on customer, commercial and risk performance, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading propositions. You’ll manage governance and operational health, implement changes, and balance risk, resilience and value across Technology, Operations and Risk

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in lending, product development/management, projects, or technology delivery.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills with good communication.
• Ability to use data to inform decisions and assess product performance.
• Experience with system implementations or re-platforming and risk governance.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong product management, design, development and leadership skills for BNZ business term lending products.
• Provide SME for business term lending products focusing on customer, commercial and risk performance; ensure design compliance.
• Understand market needs in agribusiness/commercial property lending; deliver market-leading product designs.
• Lead cross-functional teams; manage governance, incidents, risks and improvements; balance outcomes with resilience.
