Job summary

Augment Resources is recruiting intermediate-level Procurement & Sourcing Specialists to join public and private sector organisations across New Zealand. These opportunities sit within large, complex procurement environments supporting sourcing, commercial, and supplier management activities.

You'll lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities, including RFx and tender processes, supplier contract negotiations, sourcing plans, and supplier performance management, with hybrid work

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in procurement, sourcing, category management or contract management.
• Experience leading RFx and tender processes.
• Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience negotiating supplier contracts and delivering procurement outcomes.
• Knowledge of government procurement frameworks is highly regarded.

The Opportunity

You'll lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities, including:

• Running RFx and tender processes from planning through to contract award
• Negotiating and managing supplier contracts and commercial arrangements
• Developing sourcing plans and contributing to category strategies
• Managing supplier performance and stakeholder relationships
• Providing commercial advice that supports organisational outcomes

These roles offer exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier optimisation, procurement transformation initiatives, and high-value procurement programmes.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years' procurement, sourcing, category management, or contract management experience
• Experience leading RFx and tender processes
• Strong commercial, financial, and stakeholder management capability
• Experience negotiating supplier contracts and delivering procurement outcomes
• Knowledge of government procurement frameworks is highly regarded
• Public sector experience preferred, though strong private sector candidates are encouraged to apply
