Job summary

Auckland Airport is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead Digital and Corporate categories within Operations. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will develop category strategies, run sourcing and negotiation, and manage supplier performance across a high-value portfolio.

You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, Digital, Infrastructure, Operations, Commercial and Corporate Services to align procurement with business goals and sustainability priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement experience.
• Degree qualification in commerce, business, finance or related field.
• Experience developing and implementing category strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen, with negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of contract management, supplier evaluation and sourcing strategies.
• Solid understanding of procurement best practice.
• Sharp prioritisation skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective collaboration across teams and business functions.
• Confident problem-solving with a strong eye for detail.

• Partner and build alignment with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Digital, Infrastructure, Operations, Commercial and Corporate Services, from delivery teams through to the Leadership Team.

What you will be doing
