Job summary

Hunter Campbell in Auckland is seeking an experienced technology procurement professional to act as the primary partner to senior technology stakeholders, leading commercial engagements and sourcing strategies across a complex portfolio during a major technology transformation.

You will develop and execute sourcing plans, negotiate key supplier contracts, build strong relationships with leaders, manage supplier performance and risk, and identify cost and efficiency improvements for the programme.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a senior procurement or supplier-focused commercial role within a large organisation.
• Strong technology procurement experience is essential.
• Proven ability to lead commercial engagements and negotiate complex supplier contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at senior levels independently.
• Good working knowledge of supplier risk management and contractual frameworks.
• Able to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

You will act as the primary procurement partner to senior technology stakeholders, leading commercial engagements and driving sourcing strategies across a complex portfolio of technology suppliers and platforms at a time when the business is undergoing significant technology transformation.

• Build strong relationships with functional leaders to understand their objectives and translate these into procurement outcomes
