Job summary

NZ Post is seeking a Processing Officer for Invercargill with split shifts: 3.30am–9.30am and 3.00pm–5.30pm, plus Saturday 3.30am–9.30am. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at the Avenal branch to support timely nationwide deliveries.

Requirements include forklift experience, OSH certificate or F endorsement, and full New Zealand working rights. Lifting up to 25 kg and strong attention to detail are essential, with teamwork valued on this busy site.

Qualifications

• Available to work Mon-Thurs 3.30am–9.30am and 3pm–5.30pm; Saturday 3.30am–9.30am.
• OSHA/OSH cert or F endorsement required.
• Full working rights in New Zealand.
• Be a committed teammate with safety focus.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at the Avenal branch.
• Support couriers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient processing environment.

Our Processing Officers create the magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight at our Avenal branch, ready for our couriers to deliver.
