Job summary

NZ Post in Tauranga is hiring Processing Officers to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at the Tauranga Operations Centre, preparing them for our couriers.

This fixed-term night shift role runs Monday to Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, from 13 October 2026 to 11 February 2027. The job requires lifting up to 25 kg, attention to detail, and a safe, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Be available to work Monday–Friday 11:00 pm–7:30 am.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Be a committed teammate with safety awareness.
• Good geographical knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Tauranga Operations Centre, ready for couriers to deliver.
• Contribute to growth and prosperity of New Zealand by ensuring efficient parcel handling.
