Job summary

NZ Post in Invercargill is seeking a Processing Officer for the AM shift at our Avenal branch. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight to ready them for our couriers to deliver.

The role includes a competitive hourly rate of $26.75 with a night-rate allowance until 6am. Shifts run Mon-Thu and Saturday 3:30am–9:30am, at the Avenal location. Join NZ Post for a safe, supportive team and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and safe working practices.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Forklift experience is an advantage, not essential.
• Full working rights in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at the Avenal branch.
• Prepare items for courier delivery and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, secure work environment and cooperate with team.
