Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking a Processing Officer for the afternoons at our Avenal branch. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels for our delivery team, contributing to efficient operations and on-time dispatch.

The role requires available hours Mon-Thu 3pm-5:30pm, NZ working rights, and a careful, safety-focused approach. A forklift background is advantageous and you will handle up to 25kg with energy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Be available to work Mon to Thurs 3pm - 5.30pm.
• Full working rights in New Zealand.
• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself, others and the site safe.
• Energy for a physically demanding role - can you lift up to 25kgs?
• An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at our Avenal branch.
• Prepare parcels for delivery by our couriers.
