Job summary

NZ Post in Invercargill is seeking a Processing Officer for the afternoons to sort and consolidate parcels at our Avenal branch. You will help prepare items for dispatch and support the courier team with accurate, efficient processing.

The role requires a step-by-step, detail-oriented approach and the physical ability to lift up to 25 kg. If you enjoy teamwork and a safe working environment, this is a great fit.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated accuracy in handling parcels and data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
  • Good spatial awareness and route knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Sort and consolidate parcels at the Invercargill Avenal branch
  • Prepare parcels for dispatch by couriers
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency during sorting and loading
  • Assist with daily branch tasks as required
