Job summary

NZ Post is hiring Processing Officers in Taupō to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight for our couriers. You will be part of a lively team that drives efficiency and safety while contributing to New Zealand's parcel delivery network.

You will operate a forklift up to 6 hours per shift and must have a forklift OSH cert or an F Endorsed licence. The role requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail, plus strong teamwork at shift start times 5am–8am, Tuesday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Forklift OSH cert and/or F Endorsed Drivers licence.
• Be available to work Tuesday to Saturday 5am to 8am.
• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself, others and the site safe.
• Energy for a physically demanding role - can you lift up to 25kgs?
• An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Taupō site.
• Drive forklift for up to 6 hours per shift.
• Maintain health and safety on site.

About the role

Our Processing Officers create the magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight at our Taupō site, ready for our couriers to deliver. We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa.
