Job summary

New Zealand Post is hiring a Processing Officer on a part-time, fixed-term basis at our Strathallan Street branch in Dunedin. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels for delivery, supporting a fast-paced team. The role requires lifting up to 25kg and a Monday–Friday evening schedule (3.30pm–7pm) through to March 2027.

Qualifications

• Be available to work Monday to Friday 3.30pm – 7pm until March 2027.
• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself, others and the site safe.
• Energy for a physically demanding role – can you lift up to 25kgs?
• An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Strathallan Street branch.
• Prepare items for delivery by NZ Post couriers.
• Maintain accuracy and safety in a fast-paced handling environment.
