Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking Processing Officers to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at our Papamoa Operations Centre, preparing them for our couriers.

You will be part of a lively team, with safety as a priority, and opportunities for learning and development while contributing to delivering for New Zealand. The role is fixed-term, Monday to Friday 2:00pm – 5:30pm, from 12 October 2026 to 10 February 2027.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and reliability are essential.
• Good stamina for physical task handling.
• Strong attention to detail to sort and dispatch accurately.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at Papamoa Operations Centre.
• Support couriers by preparing orders for delivery.
• Maintain safety and efficiency on site.
