Taylor Preston Limited in Wellington operates a modern meat export processing plant with up to 750 staff. We offer full-time roles across varying shifts, including 4 on and 2 off or day/night rosters, with 9.5 hour days. You must be reliable, physically fit, and prepared to work during the Christmas/New Year peak period.

Job description

Taylor Preston operates a modern meat export processing plant based in Wellington. During the peak processing season, we employ up to 750 staff. We are a significant contributor to the Wellington economy.

We are looking for motivated, reliable people who are not afraid to take on a challenge in a fast-paced work environment.

Preference will be given to people who have had previous experience using knives, worked with meat products or food manufacturing but full training will be provided.

We operate different shift patters through out the year dependent on production requirements. These include Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as required or a 7 day shift roster 4 days on and 2 off or Day/Night shift. A normal working day is 9.5 hours.

We work over the Christmas / New Year period so you will need to be available to work.
