Job summary

Taylor Preston operates a modern meat export processing plant based in Wellington. We are seeking motivated, reliable people to join our fast-paced production team, with shift patterns including days, Saturdays as required, or a 7-day roster.

A typical day is 9.5 hours. We offer training leading to National qualifications in food processing, career pathways in quality control, health and safety, and leadership development, with the potential for full-time contracts as vacancies arise.

Taylor & Preston Lawyers – Wellington Central, North Island

Taylor Preston operates a modern meat export processing plant based in Wellington. During the peak processing season, we employ up to 750 staff. We are a significant contributor to the Wellington economy.

We are looking for motivated, reliable people who are not afraid to take on a challenge in a fast-paced work environment.

Preference will be given to people who have had previous experience using knives, worked with meat products or food manufacturing but full training will be provided.

We operate different shift patters through out the year dependent on production requirements. These include Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as required or a 7 day shift roster 4 days on and 2 off or Day/Night shift. A normal working day is 9.5 hours.

We work over the Christmas / New Year period so you will need to be available to work.
