Job summary

Pako International – Hastings, North Island, is seeking Meat Process Workers for the Lamb Boning Section in Hastings. You will work day and night shifts in a busy processing plant.

Pay is 24.50 per hour plus 8% annual leave, with 40+ hours per week. Successful candidates should pass pre-employment medical and drug screening, be in NZ with valid work eligibility, and have conversational English.

Qualifications

• Meat processing experience or exposure is preferred.
• Knife skills and trimming experience are beneficial.
• Experience with packing and boxing goods is a plus.
• Good teamwork and reliability are essential.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug screen.
• Conversational English is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the Lamb Boning Section of the plant.
• Assist with packing and boxing of meat products.
• Maintain safe and clean work area and follow procedures.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to work 40+ hours per week.

We are looking for day and night shift workers for a Meat Processing Plant in Hastings - Monday to Friday

The role is based in the Lamb Boning Section of the Plant

Pay rate is 24.50 per hour plus 8% annual leave and you should expect to work 40+ hours per week.

Successful candidates will possess the following attributes and experience:

• Reliable, punctual and determined to be at work every day
• Some knife skills and meat trimming experience is beneficial
• Experience in packing and boxing up goods
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Physically fit and strong
• Work well in a team environment
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug screen
• Conversational English

Previous experience in meat related industries is an advantage but not essential.
