Job summary

OneStaff is recruiting Process Workers for our client in Bell Block, a leading New Zealand poultry producer. You will contribute to producing quality poultry products while upholding food safety, hygiene, quality, and health and safety standards.

The role includes varied processing departments and daily duties across setup, picking, packing, and general production tasks. Key requirements include reliable transport, biosecurity awareness, and a hardworking attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks including bending, crouching, climbing ladders/stairs, reaching, lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive work.
• Inspect and clean machinery and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Work safely in cold, wet, damp, and slippery conditions while wearing required PPE, including hearing protection.
• Complete general room setup, including preparing work areas, moving pallets, setting up boxes, trolleys, and equipment, and printing labels/IDs.
• Carry out picking, packing, boxing, and other production/process tasks as required.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested.

We are currently seeking Process Workers for our client located in Bell Block. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of New Zealand’s leading poultry producers

As a Process Worker, you’ll play an important role in producing quality, poultry products while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, quality, and workplace health and safety. There are a variety of different departments within the processing areas.

Shift Patterns Available on a Monday to Friday Rosters:

AM shifts start/finish times

• 3am
• 11.30am, 4am
• 12.30pm, 4.30am
• 1pm, 10am
• 6.30pm, 11.15am
• 7.45pm

PM shifts start/finish times

• 12.30pm
• 9pm, 2.30pm
• 11pm, 4pm
• 12.30am, 6.30pm
• 3am

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
