Job summary

Our portfolio of technologies includes solids-contact clarification, membrane & media filtration, electrolysis, digestion, evaporation, ozone/UV disinfection and more. Our portfolio also includes chemicals & monitoring solutions, start-up & operation, membrane & ion exchange products, and custom engineered equipment.

Job Description

The role will be responsible for working collaboratively with the New Zealand Team and have Service responsibilities including, process design optimization and troubleshooting, operation, maintenance of water treatment systems and process equipment of existing sites.

In addition, the successful candidate will support the bid cycle of new opportunities, installation & commissioning of new projects and products.

  • Develop/maintain relationships with key partners and clients.
  • Assisting the Chemical Solutions and Monitoring team with long term field service activities and supporting account management of existing business.
  • Perform service duties at existing customer sites and work with the account manager to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform water analysis and/or collect samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Calibrate chemical feed pumps, controllers and instruments and troubleshoot and repair as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on chemical feed pumps, controllers and instrumentation.
  • Maintains site logs and records on performance monitoring data.
  • Maintains inventory of chemicals and spares as required.
  • Assisting the Engineering and Procurement Projects team with product selection and design, throughout the bid and project cycle. Provide advice and recommendations upon examination of treatability and optimized process design options for new/existing product opportunities. Participate in technical reviews within the design review team to ensure design optimization/value.
  • Assist in preparing Process Descriptions, mass balance, equipment sizing for product opportunities.
  • Assist with timely preparation of control narrative, engineering drawings (PFDs, P&IDs Hydraulic Profile, Layout etc.), as required.
  • Provide process support and expertise during start-up, commissioning proof of performance test and operator training, as required.
  • Technical training and presentations to clients as required.
Qualifications

BE -Chemical, Environmental, or Chemistry Degree in Science or Engineering.
