Job summary

Waipa Christian School in Te Awamutu, Waikato, is seeking a Certificated teacher to deliver instruction for Year 0–4 students (ages 5–9) in a full-time, permanent role. The successful applicant will contribute to a curriculum guided by Christian Special Character and uphold school values.

Preference will be given to teachers trained in NZ schools, English as a first language, and NZ citizens or permanent residents. Structured Literacy and Mathematics experience in a NZ context is an advantage.

Qualifications

Waipa Christian School is a state-integrated composite school based in Te Awamutu, Waikato, New Zealand.

We’re currently seeking applications from registered teachers who can demonstrate the ability to teach students aged 5-9 years old (Year 0-4) .

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• Were trained, and have experience teaching in a New Zealand school;
• Have English as their first language, and can clearly communicate in English;
• Is a New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident.

A further advantage would be to have experience with a Structured Literacy and Mathematics approach in a New Zealand context.
