Job summary

South End School in New Zealand is seeking an experienced NZ trained teacher to join our team in Term 1, 2027. You will teach across primary and intermediate levels (Years 1–8) and contribute to a supportive, collaborative team in the heart of the Wairarapa.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisation skills, strong classroom management, and a solid understanding of the NZ curriculum.

Qualifications

• NZ trained teacher with Certificated status or teaching council eligibility.

South End School is seeking an experienced and skilled NZ trained teacher to join our team in the heart of the Wairarapa, beginning in Term 1, 2027.

We are looking for a teacher who has excellent communication and organisation skills, strong classroom management, along with a good understanding of the NZ curriculum and a commitment to engaging, purposeful teaching. Strengths in teaching literacy (BSLA) and mathematics are essential. Skills in dance, drama and music would be beneficial.
