Job summary

Fairhall School is seeking a permanent teacher to join our dedicated teaching team from the start of 2027. The position covers Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher, with a negotiable year level depending on applicant strengths.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered teacher is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach primary and intermediate students (Years 1–8) according to the NZ curriculum.
• Foster strong connections with tamariki, families, and the school community.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school programmes and PB4L-SW initiatives.

Fairhall School is seeking a permanent teacher to join our dedicated teaching team. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, quality New Zealand Registered teacher to join us from the start of 2027.

The year level for this position is negotiable, depending on the applicant's strengths. We have several fixed‑term management units that will be open to both new and existing staff to apply for, for 2027.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $62862 to $105686 depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. An individual's actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
