Job summary

Are you passionate about Christian education and committed to helping young people thrive academically, spiritually, and personally?

Lake Taupō Christian School is seeking enthusiastic and committed secondary teacher(s) to join our growing secondary school.

We are open to appointing either one full-time teacher or a combination of part-time teachers, depending on the strengths and experience of applicants.

As our secondary school continues to develop and expand, we are particularly seeking teachers who can contribute to English and/or Mathematics across Years 9-13 and also may have expertise in any of the New Zealand Curriculum learning areas, including those with experience or interest in vocational and industry-led learning pathways.

Dependent on the skills and experience for the successful applicant(s), this job may carry unit responsibilities.

We are looking for teachers who:

• have a genuine and active Christian faith.
• are committed to our Christian special character and able to integrate faith and learning naturally and authentically
• build positive, respectful relationships with students and whānau
• are passionate about helping young people discover their God-given potential
• enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to the development of an innovative and growing secondary programme
• hold, or are eligible to hold, New Zealand teacher registration.
