ARCLAB is a precision surveying and as-built documentation practice based on Karangahape Road, Auckland. We are seeking a Practice Coordinator to hold together booking, site access and client communication across our on-site survey and modelling teams.
You will manage the project calendar, coordinate visits, ensure data hygiene, and keep records up to date while supporting studio operations and client meetings. This role suits an organized, proactive communicator who can shape our workflows.
ARCLAB is a precision surveying and as-built documentation practice. We laser-scan buildings and sites and turn the data into accurate drawings and 3D models for architects, engineers and builders. We're a team of about 10 on Karangahape Road, with work across NZ.
The role
Our survey team is on site most days, and our modelling team turns that data into deliverables. We need someone to hold it all together: booking the work, getting us onto site, keeping clients informed and running the studio. You'll report to our Managing Director.
What you'll do
Run our project calendar: survey bookings, site visits, field team availability and delivery dates.
Project coordination and system management (CRM, project planning, data hygiene)
Organise site access and any paperwork with clients, builders and building managers.
Keep each project moving from instruction to delivery, with clients kept in the loop and project records up to date.
Look after the studio: supplies, cleaning, hospitality, events and client meetings.
About you
3+ years coordinating projects, sites or operations, ideally in architecture, engineering, construction, property or surveying.
Calm and confident with clients, builders and contractors.
Highly organised. You follow things through without being chased.
Innovative - you enjoy figuring out how to turn a messy process into a simple one.
What we offer
A small, young team where your work makes a visible difference from week one.
Interesting projects across architecture, engineering and construction.
A central studio on K Road, close to public transport.
A role you can shape. You'll help design how we work, not just follow a manual.
