Stantec in New Zealand is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer (Power) to join a 2-year accredited graduate development programme with a base salary of NZD74,000 plus benefits. You will gain hands-on experience across the project lifecycle, working with experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

The role offers mentoring for Engineering NZ accreditation, flexible hours, and opportunities across multiple NZ cities including Wellington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with expected completion before employment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with investigation, analysis, and design of electrical systems.
• Perform engineering calculations using standard software.
• Support preparation of electrical drawings, schematics, and reports.
• Assist with developing designs in accordance with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver solutions.
• Contribute to site visits and field work as needed.
