Job summary

Horizon Energy Group – Auckland is seeking an experienced Asset & Delivery Engineer to support the lifecycle management of electricity network assets. You will contribute to asset risk modelling, maintenance and renewal planning, engineering assessments, and the delivery of capital and operational programmes.

You will work with the Asset & Delivery Manager and other teams to ensure assets are safe, reliable and managed to industry best practice.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years' experience in electricity distribution or transmission encouraged.
Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and reliability analysis.
Familiar with ISO/standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance asset risk models and intervention criteria.
Plan and manage asset lifecycle activities including maintenance, renewals and replacements.
Analyse asset performance, failures and defects, and recommend improvements.
Prepare business cases, technical standards, SOPs and engineering documentation.
Support delivery of annual OPEX and CAPEX programmes, including project oversight.
Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure efficient delivery.
