Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Powder Coater for a well-established manufacturing site in Auckland. You will prepare, powder coat and finish metal components to meet quality and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll apply powder coatings using manual or automated systems, cure and inspect finished work, maintain equipment and keep areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a powder coater preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work to deadlines in a production environment.
• Reliable attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal parts for coating: cleaning, masking, hanging.
• Apply powder coatings using manual and/or automated systems.
• Cure and finish coated products.
• Inspect finished work to meet quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Follow health, safety and quality procedures.
