Job summary

DuluxGroup is seeking a Production Team Member for our Christchurch manufacturing site with a focus on powder coating and quality inspection. The role involves supporting powder coating operations while also assisting in general production and assembly tasks to meet daily targets.

We value hands-on workers who take pride in quality and can adapt to different production areas. Morning shift 6am–2:30pm, with occasional overtime on Saturdays when needed.

Qualifications

• Practical powder coating experience and a strong quality focus.
• Previous powder coating experience (current or past role).
• Experience inspecting coated products and identifying defects.
• Understanding of powder coating quality issues and troubleshooting.
• A hands-on, practical approach to work.
• Willingness to support broader production tasks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out powder coating processes, including preparation, application, curing and inspection.
• Inspect finished products and identify coating defects.
• Troubleshoot coating quality issues and identify root causes.
• Support general production and assembly lines when required.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
