Job summary

Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation invites a senior platform leader to own the technology strategy and lifecycle of the digital workplace. You’ll manage Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and related tools, leading a team of Platform Engineers and partners to elevate platform maturity and user experience.

You will shape roadmaps, govern security and risks, drive adoption, and deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Experience owning or leading digital workspace platforms, preferably the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Proven ability to develop platform strategies and roadmaps that deliver measurable business value.
• Ability to balance business priorities, technology opportunities, and risk when making platform decisions.
• Strong leadership, coaching and capability-building for technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology strategy and lifecycle of the digital workplace (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune and Entra ID).
• Oversee Jira, Confluence, Power Platform, records management and collaboration tools.
• Lead device management and digital employee experience initiatives.
• Build platform roadmaps balancing demand, risk, vendor roadmaps and investments.
• Prioritize improvements by stakeholders and pain points into a pipeline of work.
• Lead platform governance and enforce architecture, security, risk and compliance requirements.
• Set measures for service health, adoption, user experience, cost and value.
• Manage vendors and partners for performance, licenses, contracts and roadmaps.
• Lead and develop Platform Engineers toward proactive delivery.
• Champion simplification, automation and AI adoption.
