• Investigate OOS results and deviations, participate in root cause analysis.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis for released products.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established entity within the pharmaceutical industry , is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their laboratory team in Queenstown . This essential role involves performing a wide range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality specifications and regulatory standards. You will be a key contributor to maintaining product integrity and patient safety. This position requires hands-on laboratory work in a controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using various laboratory techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR).
• Ensure all testing is conducted in compliance with GMP, SOPs, and relevant pharmacopeial methods.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and accuracy.
• Accurately document all test results, calculations, and observations in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
• Investigate Out-of-Specification (OOS) results and deviations, participating in root cause analysis.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for released products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
