Placements24 seeks a meticulous Quality Control Analyst for a Queenstown laboratory role. You will perform analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality compliance, operating analytical equipment and generating reliable data with attention to detail.

This position offers growth within the QC field, exposure to diverse techniques, and a collaborative team focused on scientific accuracy and product safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in a Quality Control laboratory setting is essential.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and titrators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine analytical tests on samples using laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and standards required for testing procedures.
• Accurately record and document all test results, observations, and deviations in accordance with SOPs.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Analyze test data, identify out-of-specification results, and report findings to the Quality Control Supervisor.
• Participate in method validation and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory procedures.
