Job summary

Petstock NZ in Rotorua is seeking energetic team members to deliver exceptional customer service and pet care guidance in-store. You will help customers choose the best products, complete sales transactions, and uphold a tidy, welcoming shopping environment.

This role suits people who love animals, are comfortable lifting up to 20 kg, and can work weekends/public holidays. Training and growth opportunities with award-winning programs are on offer within a supportive Petstock Group and Woolworths

Qualifications

Patience and passion for animals.
Experience in a similar retail environment.
Proven drive to achieve sales targets.
Strong interpersonal skills with customers and team.
Physically capable of lifting up to 20 kg.
Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service where you and the customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions.
Educate customers on the best care and products for their pets using your knowledge.
Complete memorable sales transactions and aim to reach store sales goals.
Maintain a high standard of store presentation and stock replenishment.
Keep knowledge up to date on pet care, products and services.
Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore with a safety mindset.
