Job summary

Petstock NZ in Rotorua is seeking energetic team members to deliver exceptional customer service and pet care guidance in-store. You will help customers choose the best products, complete sales transactions, and uphold a tidy, welcoming shopping environment.

This role suits people who love animals, are comfortable lifting up to 20 kg, and can work weekends/public holidays. Training and growth opportunities with award-winning programs are on offer within a supportive Petstock Group and Woolworths

Qualifications

• Patience and passion for animals.
• Experience in a similar retail environment.
• Proven drive to achieve sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customers and team.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 20 kg.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service where you and the customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions.
• Educate customers on the best care and products for their pets using your knowledge.
• Complete memorable sales transactions and aim to reach store sales goals.
• Maintain a high standard of store presentation and stock replenishment.
• Keep knowledge up to date on pet care, products and services.
